Well I thought I would tell you about a couple, first up favorite tv show from when I was a teenager:
I loved Dawson's Creek. I was never a Dawson girl though. I loved Pacey so I adored how the show ended! I remember watching it on a tv with a dial (it was really old, I'm not that old!) in my bedroom (with the door open of course!) with Josh. His ability to watch such a girly show just proves his love for me, lol.
And then:
This will always be one of my favorites. I loved how Lorelei and Rory were best friends. Although my mom is a lot more mature than Lorelei, I cherish having that kind of say anything relationship with my own mom. I always watched with my sisters and it was awesome.
I'm trying to cut back on my tv viewing and upgrade the quality of shows I'm watching (get rid of those that glorify those sins that Jesus died for) so I'll give you 2 more that I will continue to watch because I'm dorky and love them:
Like I said, I'm a dork. I love Jeopardy. I love being right and answering questions. I love learning new things on the categories that I'm not so good in. If I were ever a contestant I hope I would do as well as I do in my living room. I watched this show every night as a child with my parents (and still do when I'm there at 7:30) and DVR it so when there is nothing on tv I have something good to watch.
Finally, I am not really into "Reality TV" and people putting down others for their 15 minutes of fame but I do love:
I love the Biggest Loser! It is awesome to see people overcome their foibles and change their lives for the better. Some seasons the people are more into game play and I don't like it. We had a guy from our area on a couple of seasons ago and my sisters were lucky enough to meet him and I feel encouraged each time I watch it. As I said I'm trying to cut out the negative tv from my life but this show gets to stay because it encourages me to be a better me!
God Bless You!
Romans 1:12 When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.
this was not as surprising as yesterday...since we talked about it at the retreat and all... I still think you need to be on Jeopardy sometime!
